Chelsea £130,000 a-week star ‘agrees terms with Galatasaray’
Galatasaray have reportedly agreed on personal terms with Chelsea captain Gary Cahill ahead of the potential transfer.
Former England international has failed to feature in any of the Blues opening three games in the Premier League, and it is likely that defender will spend his career away from Stamford Bridge.
According to Fotomac, English centre-back has come to an agreement over personal terms with Galatasaray with negotiations now expected to get underway between the teams.The 32-year-old is believed to be prepared to fight for starring role in Maurizio Sarri’s starting lineup, however, it has been suggested that the Englishman could leave the club within hours.
Cahill has less than a year left on his current deal with the West Londoners, while Turkish giants are looking to strengthen their squad after securing qualification to Champions League.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly decided that they will not entertain to sell their star player Marcos Alonso for a fee less than £54m amid interest from La Liga giants Rela Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Alonso has scored 15 goals in 88 games for Chelsea since moving to West London in 2016, and the Spaniard remains the first choice at the Blues left-side.
However, it has been reported that the Spaniard would be open to a future return to the Los Blancos, where the full-back spent early stage of his football career.
